Today, approximately half of the natural gas produced in the country is burned and vented.
At PRODATA ENERGY we want to give utility to a part of that gas that is lost in our atmosphere, to improve the quality of life of our people and contribute to an environment free of carbon emissions.

NATURAL GAS
Natural gas has the lowest environmental impact among the most widely used fossil fuels (coal and oil). It is also an abundant resource. The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that its current reserves could last more than 200 years.
Natural gas is:
- More environmentally friendly: its combustion leaves 30% less CO2 than oil and 45% less than coal. It does not emit visible particles into the environment and extends the life of household appliances and industrial equipment.
- More economical: as a fuel, it offers greater savings compared to gasoline, diesel and electricity.
- More reliable: unlike other energy sources, its performance in practice is safer for use compared to other energy sources.
- Easier to transport: It is lighter than coal and oil. This makes it easier to transport through pipelines. In fact, if liquefied, it can be mobilized by ships or tankers.
